Cinnamon Powder
Cinnamon powder is a fine, aromatic spice made by grinding the dried inner bark of the Cinnamomum tree. It has a warm, sweet, and woody flavor with a mildly spicy undertone, making it one of the most popular spices worldwide.
There are mainly two varieties: Ceylon Cinnamon (True Cinnamon), known for its delicate sweetness, and Cassia Cinnamon, which has a stronger, more pungent taste.
Cinnamon powder is widely used in culinary preparations, from baked goods, desserts, and beverages to savory curries, rice dishes, and spice blends. It is also valued for its medicinal properties in Ayurveda, Unani, and traditional herbal medicine systems, being known for improving digestion, managing blood sugar, and boosting immunity.
