Lichee
Litchi (Litchi chinensis) is a tropical and subtropical fruit belonging to the Sapindaceae family. The fruit is small, round to oval, and covered with a rough, red or pinkish outer skin that is inedible. Inside, it has a translucent, juicy, and fragrant white pulp surrounding a single brown seed.
Litchis are prized for their sweet, floral flavor and aromatic taste, making them popular as a fresh fruit, in desserts, juices, and beverages. They are rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, dietary fiber, and minerals such as potassium and magnesium. Litchis are grown primarily in tropical and subtropical regions and are highly valued both for fresh consumption and processing into canned or dried forms.
